A Special Person

A Special Person

Today we wrote about a person who is special to us.  Here are some of our stories….

My special person is Reef.  Reef helps me and he plays with me.  He makes me happy when I am sad.  He comes to my house.  When I go to his house he lets me play with his toys.  When I don’t have a friend Reef comes over to my house.  When I have to clean my room up Reef helps me.  When I hurt myself Reef helps me clean my room up.  Reef helps me when I hurt myself and he takes me to the sick bay.  When it is my birthday Reef surprises me.

I love Santa because he gives  me presents.  I cuddle him and he cuddles me back.  I love Santa.  Santa is good to me.

My special person is my Dad because he plays rugby with me.  He makes me super happy.  We go surfing in the summer.  My favourite thing to do with him is going surfing.  Everytime we go surfing we see little fish swimming around and jumping out of the water.  They are white.

Hairy Potter

Hairy Potter

Introducing our newest class member……  Hairy Potter!!  Hairy Potter started in Kahukura at the start of the term.  Every class member is going to have a turn to take him home and write a story about their experiences with him.  We had a story writing competition to decide who got to take him first.  Tom wrote the most interesting story and got to share the first adventure with Hairy.  Here is Tom’s story:

A Wild Thing is a kind of mammal.  It lives in the forest.   I think we should call him Hairy because he is Hairy.  I wish I could see a real Wild Thing.  I wish  could hear a Wild Thing  roar!
